first unicycle I ever owned, on the day I bought it
Photo by Alan Foss Yes, I already knew how to ride. It was Feb 11, 1980, and I had finally saved up enough to buy that beautiful Giraffe down at the Reliable Bicycle Shop of Livonia, Michigan. I would have preferred a warm sunny day, but I happily rode down my unpaved street in the snow. I still have it, it's been all over the world with me, and I still use it in every show, I'll never part with my trusty Schwinn Giraffe. |
