Folsom Railway
January 1998, the month I moved to Folsom, CA. Folsom is famous for more things than just its state prison, its history
as a Pony Express and stagecoach stop, and the giant recreational
lake and dam. So our railroad never got big. That doesn't
mean it isn't fun to ride. This fully functioning steam locomotive
pulls trainloads of people (small kids in the box cars!) around Folsom's
city hall and zoo. It's a neat place to live.
