Skiing Squaw Valley
Sure, we have snow in Gold Country, we just try to keep it where
it belongs, on the ski slopes! A two hour drive from my house is
Squaw Valley, site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. With 4000 acres of
trails, it's one of the many spectacular places to ski in the Lake
Tahoe area. This picture was taken on my first visit to California,
in March 1994.
