Winter in Gold Country
Photography by John Foss
Gold Country gets its name from the gold discovery in 1848, and the subsequent historic gold rush. Gold Country includes the Sacramento area and the Sierra Nevada Foothills. If you like a white Christmas and a snowy driveway, stay away. Winter in Gold Country is a great time to play!
