Jacknifed Tandem Truck
February 1985, somewhere in Ohio. This isn't exactly winter
fun, but it doesn't fit the other categories either. The day I
planned to drive my rental truck from Michigan to New York when I
moved there, this weather happened. I waited a day before leaving,
and saw no less than a dozen jacknifed tractor trailers along the
way. This one was the most spectacular, in the median of I-80 in
eastern Ohio. I sank in snow up to my hips to get the
picture.
