Join us for noncompetitive trail riding, workshops, and fun off-road competition this October in Santa Cruz, California. The California Mountain Unicycle Weekend is the first event of its kind, and this will be our fourth annual event!

HOSTS: Your hosts this year are Bruce Bundy and David Poznanter of Santa Cruz, who will be mapping out various routes for beginning,advanced, and in-between riders. BEACH BOARDWALK: No trip to Santa Cruz is complete (to me) without a visit to the Boardwalk and a ride on the famous Giant Dipper roller coaster, which is celebrating its 75th year. We have left a space in the schedule to allow us to go there for a ride.

COMPETITIONS: They have always been popular in the past, and we'll have some here too. There will be an Observed Trials competition and an uphill race, with novice and expert courses.

AAH, SANTA CRUZ! If I didn't live in the Sacramento area, this would be my preferred place to ride. Beach, lots of shade, a nice little city, and trails all over the place! All the riding is within a few miles of downtown. There is plenty of shade, and the scenery is beautiful. If you thought Auburn was too hot (can't blame you if you were at the first MUni Weekend), this is the place for you!

YOU RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK: When you register, you will be asked to sign a release form that states in detail that you and you alone are responsible for what happens to you while participating in this very informal event. There is the potential for broken bones and more serious injury. We want you to know this before you come, because the hosts will not be responsible for you. You know how it goes. . .
